A further extension to the room is now complete offering a Pool Table for the first time on club premises.

The lounge has been modernised to be a relaxing enviroment and is open every evening. The bar is ideal for enjoying a quiet drink with friendly conversation. Or simply relaxing at the end of the day.

The Club was opened in 1928 by workmen from a local sewage works. Apparently their shift working arrangements and the licensing hours left them unable to have a drink after work. Their solution, which followed the example of many at that time, was to form a club of their own.
