On Saturday and Sunday evenings, 'Live' entertainment is provided for members, affiliated members and visitors.

On Friday the concert room is often used for TRIBUTE NIGHTS. The room is also available for anyone wanting to host their own PRIVATE PARTY.

Downstairs we have the Games & Television Room. This is a large room housing two Full-Size Snooker Tables, Dartboards, Dominos and Playing Card facilities as well as Large Screen TV's for the sports enthusiasts. A further extension to the room offers a Free Pool Table!

The Lounge has been modernised to offer a relaxing atmosphere and is open every evening. The bar is ideal for enjoying a quiet drink with friendly conversation - or to simply wind down at the end of the day.

The Club was opened in 1928 by local workmen. Apparently their shift working arrangements and the licensing hours left them unable to have a drink after work. Their solution, which followed the example of many at that time, was to form a club of their own.
